Why They Call It SUNday? I See No Sun!

Current Mood: Sassy mixed with a sprinkle of pleasurable sarcasm :-P

So I woke up just a little over an hour ago today, nice huh? I never do that, I mean sure I do occasionally but seriously not too much.
I can only imagine how my poor husband sleeps. I know that when I was little, I would stay at my grandma Mary's house (mother's mother) and she had two full sized mattresses combined with a big headboard, and I would wake up around 6am, crawl out of bed and find her in a dark lit room in her ancient rocking chair with her trusted Rosary in hand mumbling her prayers (very Catholic). I would then ask her why she was up? I was told I rolled around so much when I slept that I kicked her out of bed... ouch! Sorry Grandma! I can only hope I don't do that to Dylan, poor thing.

Got our first Pumpkins of the season yesterday at the Suavie Island pumpkin Patch in Oregon. It was hard to get there (to the right location) but once everything settled it wasn't too bad. Anyways, we got two pumpkins: a smaller light orange, taller one and my new found favorite breed of pumpkin the CINDERELLA. It's a french breed (I read that on the sign) and it's this gorgeous deep dark red orange color. Perfect pumpkin if you ask me. She's over 27lbs and it's stunning.

I love this time of the year, Surprising to many who know me because even in the dead heat of summer I have poor circulation in my hands and feet and my toes get ice cold, I'm only without socks when It's sunny so the rays can warm my little piggies. Well the fall, autumn, harvest, turn of the season whatever you want to call it is really extra special this year. It's been a long summer, and since I don't do school it's really less enjoyable for me, see I am a caregiver and it's with kids mainly. Summer = no school. No School = More Hours home for the tots... so I worked a lot this summer. And the wedding we just had, well it was very stressful on me, mentally and physically, I am still dealing with the effects of all that stress. This is our first complete season as a married couple... I can't believe it's already Autumn. Then it will be winter, and spring and damn! It's amazing how fast time does go by.
