Snowed In And Sewing

Really? Is it really Christmas Eve of 2008 already? Kind of insane if you think about it, I don't know about you but for us, well me too it's been such a busy, eventful year... I mean so many amazing things happened this year!
  • Had My 20th Birthday!
  • The Tons of Family & Friend Birthdays!
  • Hailey Renee was born!
  • Got highest marks possible on my Annual Evaluation from Work!
  • Went to Disneyland with my amazing Sarah & Two nieces, Iris & Stella!
  • Went to the beach!
  • Planned a freaken WEDDING!
  • Dylan had his 21st Birthday!
  • Had our Wedding!
  • Our first Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas as a Married Couple!
I know there are lots more I just cant think of them right now!

As for the anticipated Christmas Eve family traditions...The snow has made it impossible to keep them going...but we will have to adapt seeing as the North West is set in it's ways. Yes we (115ft above sea-level and just minutes north of the Columbia River) have nearly 2 feet of snow... whatever I'll deal.

So what am I doing today? Sewing! I have the front panel of my "Sunny Day" quilt done!!! I need sheet batting to finish but it's too cute! Dylan thinks its a bit "Loud" but hell it's for a baby, and I think it's super cute! Anybody that knows me knows I often gravitate towards the bright, shiny, colorful, aka Distracting things in life so of course I love it!

Up close of the 3 fabrics that are the quilt! All from my mom's collection she let me mine through when I first decided I might, perhaps, possibly be somewhat, maybe interested, a little in sewing... ;-D

The completed front panel! I'm sorry, but I think it's fabulous! Most importantly Gender-neutral.

I have been snapping pictures like crazy with my new digital camera! The hubby got me a Olympus FE-360 (follow link if you want to see my beautiful Silver Point-and-shoot) For Christmas! It's so cute and amazing! I got spoiled I know!

I'm done for now. I really am impressed with this blog, but I think it's bad to set yourself up for disaster, I mean personally I was so into the 365days of blogging, but I can't do it. It is so unrealistic, I don't have that many things every single day to write a good blog about! But sadly the best blog was practicaly a cheat, it's a wrap up of the year... how can that not be eventful?

Hope You Enjoyed, I'm off to sew more, well actually research things to sew and how to do them, then sew!
